Sales: ongoing double-digit growth

Sales for the first half of 2005 were by 10.1% at constant USD exchange rates to EUR 18.7 million, in line with the targets set by the company in April.

Growth was mainly driven by business in North America (up 13.3% at constant USD exchange rates), drawing on the success of previous acquisitions, and in Europe (up 19% at constant USD exchange rates, excluding extraction activities).

This includes both sales of ingredients for the food industry (up 12.2% at constant USD exchange rates) and extracts for the nutraceutical industry (up 18.5% at constant USD exchange rates).

Pure World: bringing a new dimension to the Group's activity

It now generates 70% of its total sales in North America. Naturex is now one of the leading players worldwide on the market for plant extracts and natural ingredients.
