French Prime Minister Manuel Valls spent a few days in Provence last week and took the opportunity to visit Naturex, the global leader in specialty plant-based natural ingredients, at its headquarters in Avignon.
Naturex CEO Olivier Rigaud welcomed Manuel Valls and his delegation and took them on a tour of the plant as well as the company’s brand-new SpringLab application laboratory. The new facility helps customers transform prototypes into finished products and addresses specific challenges with tailor-made solutions. At the end of the tour, the Prime Minister also took some time to meet with company employees.
“It’s always a great pleasure to visit the flagships of French industry,” said Valls during the press conference. The Prime Minister added that, through its advanced technology, Naturex has been able to develop effective new products and processes. “This fills me with optimism about France’s future.”
During his visit, Manuel Valls discovered a steadily-growing international group whose turnover reached 327 million € in 2014. Naturex employs over 1,700 people in 25 countries.
