Determining the environmental impact of different extraction methods with a pilot extraction unit

07/27/2017

A new pilot extraction unit has been installed in the testing facility, enabling new prototypes to be developed for R&D. It will play a key role in the transition process from R&D to production. In fact, the pilot trial extraction unit will allow us to test all of the elements that could potentially block the initial production of new references. This means that the number of successful batches requiring no further modifications will be significantly increased; more batches will be given the green light on the first try!

Another important feature of the new extraction unit is its ability to take energy consumption into account and analyze the life cycle of the extraction phases. These trials will allow us to determine the environmental impact of different extraction methods, thereby guiding us toward production solutions that consume less energy and are more environmentally friendly.
