Naturex ranked no. 21 of Europe 's top 500 growth companies of 2005 and came in 3rd position of the French companies. This listing has been established by Business Week and Europe 's 500 Entrepreneurs for Growth, a Brussel organization that represents more than 2000 entrepreneurs.

Naturex manufactures and sells natural ingredients for the food, flavor and nutraceutical industries. Based in France , Naturex is an international company with nearly 90% of its sales abroad. Currently, more than 70% of Naturex 's sales are derived from the United States market. It has facilities in France , Morocco and the United States and a representative office in Singapore

This annual European ranking, which is given to companies headquartered in a European country, is intended to honour the fastest growing companies that manifest entrepreneurial leadership, innovation, job creation and market expertise.

Companies have been selected according to the Europe 's 500 criteria, such as entrepreneurial involvement and growth in turnover & employment. Additionally companies must have been founded before 2002, having at least 50 employees, but no more than 5,000 at the beginning of 2001.
